Fristam Mixing & Blending designs and manufactures high-performance industrial mixers for hygienic and sanitary processing applications. With over 30 years of mixing expertise, we deliver reliable powder induction, liquid blending and inline dispersion solutions that improve product quality, reduce processing time and increase production efficiency across food, beverage, dairy, pharmaceutical and chemical industries.
Fristam Mixing & Blending is a specialised division within Fristam, focused exclusively on mixing technologies. While Fristam has manufactured hygienic pumps for over 100 years, we have also manufactured industrial mixers for more than three decades. Our renewed dedicated structure brings even greater focus to research, application engineering and customer support for mixing and blending systems.
With specialist teams and application-driven development, we provide mixing solutions that integrate seamlessly into hygienic process lines — delivering consistent product quality, repeatable results and long-term operational reliability. From powder induction and liquid-liquid blending to inline homogenisation and dispersion, Fristam mixers and blenders are engineered to meet the strict hygiene, safety and performance requirements of modern production environments.
Fristam powder mixers are designed to induct, disperse and hydrate powders directly into liquid streams with high efficiency and minimal air entrainment. Using controlled vacuum generation and optimised rotor-stator technology, powders are drawn rapidly into the process flow and instantly wetted, preventing lump formation and improving dissolution performance.
The result is faster batch preparation, reduced product loss and consistent mixing quality – even with challenging ingredients such as thickeners, stabilisers, gums, cocoa, starch’s, proteins powders.
Unlike traditional open-tank mixing methods, Fristam’s closed inline mixing systems improve hygiene, reduce dust exposure and allow fully controlled, repeatable processing conditions. They’re also fully CIP and SIP ready, helping you maintain strict hygiene standards and quality control between batches.

With a history of over 30 years of dedicated mixing expertise Fristam delivers reliable, application-driven industrial mixing systems trusted by manufacturers worldwide.
With a global sales network of engineers, partners and distributors, we support hygienic processing operations across all major manufacturing regions – delivering application expertise, local support and reliable, robust mixing equipment.
Our mixers and blenders by their very design, support sustainable industrial mixing by reducing energy consumption through shorter mixing times, minimising product waste and ensuring consistent product quality across the food, beverage, dairy, pharmaceutical, personal care and chemical industries.
Selecting the right industrial mixing equipment depends on your process requirements, product characteristics and performance targets. You can use our industrial mixer selection tool to identify the most suitable solution based on your application.
The most effective method is using inline powder induction systems, which use vacuum and rotor-stator technology to draw powders directly into the liquid stream. This ensures rapid wetting, prevents lump formation and significantly reduces mixing time. You can see how this performs in practice across different applications in our industrial mixing case studies.
Inline mixing systems provide continuous processing, improved product consistency, reduced contamination risk and faster production compared to traditional batch mixing methods.
Specialised high viscosity industrial mixing equipment is designed to process thick products such as sauces, creams and slurries while maintaining consistent flow, shear control and product quality.
Please don’t hesitate to contact our customer support. We would be happy to answer any questions you may have about our case studies or similar challenges, and we will provide effective solutions tailored to your needs.
